Suit

门

A suit is one of craks, bams, or dots. Each runs 1 through 9, four copies, 36 tiles in a suit.

Name the three suits first: craks are the wan characters, bams are bamboo, dots are circles. Winds and dragons are not suits.

Sichuan 血战到底 makes you name a suit you will not keep. See void suit and Sichuan.

An American card may also name a suit, or ask for a clean hand in one suit. Sequences live inside one suit.

The tiles lesson starts with the three suits.

Winds and dragons are not suits. A suit is craks, bams, or dots.
