The American name for the white dragon. It is a dragon, not a joker and not a flower.
Exposure

Showing a group on the rack. An American pung, kong, or quint is exposed after the call.

Declaring the hand complete. American play matches a printed line; Chinese play is usually four sets and a pair.

The tile you throw after a draw. Another player may call it.

The dealer. The American Charleston starts from East, and East draws first.
Concealed

Tiles not yet shown. An American call exposes the group. Riichi needs a closed hand.
